Most
people that are looking at weight lifting plans are looking to get
stronger and to build up their body. Specific sports might
use weight lifting for specific purposes from quick burst strength in
football to endurance in running sports, but we will concentrate on
body building programs. I have not tried all of the weight
lifting plans in the world and everyone has different needs, but I do
know that any good program is going to require proper nutrition and
hard work. You can not get a better body by taking a pill. I
also know that most people will get better results if they use a paper
and pen to write down their results. I also know that every time you
lift you should be trying to do better than you did last week.
Before
you start a program, make sure you have everything you need.
Will you need to join a gym? Do you have a friend
that can act as a spotter, or are you willing to ask for help?
Do you need to lose weight first? Most experts
suggest you work on one goal at a time. It is usually better to
concentrate on losing weight before gaining muscle, so if you need to
lose weight, make sure that you choose one of the weight
lifting plans that also tells enough about diet that you can
concentrate on losing weight while lifting and then move on
to building muscle.
